BRONCO: An All-Male Singing + Stripping Revue
GoGo Gadget
GoGo Gadget: Will serve as both the host, as well as a performer during BRONCO. We’ve worked with him for years as part of our annual Holiday Burlesque Spectactular – HUNG With Care and he has starred in more than 900 performances as part of Third Rail Project’s immersive theatre show Then She Fell. Gadget loves masks, makeup, costumes, music and glitter. Lots and lots of glitter! Oh and bubbles too! He also enjoys candy, sweating, dancing, cartoons, comic books, adventure heroes, men, and a few women too. And most importantly, he absolutely loves getting naked and feels beautiful about his appearance.
Oliver Roxoff
Oliver Roxoff: Once a promising teenage athlete, his sports career was cut short when his mother dropped a six pack on his instep. Logically, Ollie turned to the only other career a boy with a chiseled physique could pursue: burlesque. Ollie toured the continent for many years singing and stripping until he was reunited with his old paramour, Derri A. Galore. Derri seized the opportunity to engage Oliver with The Corsettes, and now he performs regularly across the Mid-Atlantic. Scribbled on many a bathroom wall, just above his number, is Ollie’s calling card: “To knock your socks off, call Oliver Roxoff”.
Michael Tomlinson
Michael Tomlinson: He began his dance training at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where he trained intensively in ballet and modern techniques, eventually joining Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company based at the University, performing works by Gary Abbot, Kevin Iega Jeff, and Robert Battle to name a few. In 2013 he moved to New York City to work for Jennifer Muller/The Works where he danced for 3 years before moving on to work as a freelance dance artist. Now calling Atlantic City home, Michael has spent summers performing as part of the cast of Male Call in Provincetown, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to Philly for BRONCO.
Gabriel Reyes
Gabriel Reyes: Also a past member of the Ptown Male Call crew and is a resident of New Jersey. He spends a great deal of time doing choreography work in Philadelphia. After training at Stockton University, Reyes performed in Atlantic City for Maxine Nightingale and for Tovaris Wilson. He also choreographed shows at the 1925 Lounge in Philadelphia and has performed in Puerto Rico, New York City and for Norwegian Cruise Lines. He recently been dancing with cast of “On Your Feet”, “Strip-U of Broadway Bares”, and the “Tony Awards” at Radio City in New York.
Jackie Nova
Jackie Nova: Some say that Jackie was born of a faraway star where it is eternally both night & day, where a hum-like laughter permeates the space between all things…Others say he’s just a small city boy from Baltimore. A consummate daydreamer, Jackie realized one day that most of his mental wanderings shared a common thread: a vision of himself dancing in a spotlight, with allure and comedy mixing in a highly theatrical display. He followed that daydream to the New York School of Burlesque, enrolled in a class, soon after auditioned for a boylesque troupe, became one of its inaugural members, and hasn’t looked back since (unless it has been to wink at an admirer).
Tim Quinn
Tim Quinn: A regular in the Philly Gayborhood, Tim performs frequently at Knock and he also appeared onstage at a variety of events including Daddy & Friends. An outstanding singer and guitarist, we’re excited to show you another side of Tim as part of BRONCO.
