The Gift of Touch Massage Exchange
Pink Stallion has partnered with Adam Brown of Heart Centered Touch to bring his Men’s Massage Exchange Workshop to The Yoga House in Kingston on Sunday, October 13th from 2pm – 5pm.
The intention of this workshop is to help men connect with each other through awareness-training, touch and authentic communication. The modes used are guided touch practices, Taoist meditative practices and deep listening exercises. Connection has the ability to foster a sense of wholeness, purpose and fulfillment. Taoist and Tantric practices allow us to be more fully present in each moment.
Massage exchange rounds serve to guide both giver and receiver to practice compassionate touch.
Join a group of men who share the desire to improve their touch kkills, explore the world of body-mind energetics and enjoy deeper states of pleasure. Adam’s model of learning is very hands-on. The workshop is geared to the non-professional man who participates with an open-heart and a curious mind. These attributes of Adam’s groups provide a safe, rich environment and enjoyable ways to learn about giving and receiving touch.
During these sessions participants should expect to give and receive massage from multiple other participants simultaneously. Participants should expect to be fully nude for this workshop.
Registration for this intimate workshop is capped at 12 participants. Advance registration is required.
About The Yoga House
The Yoga House was founded in Kingston, New York in 2011 with a foundational belief that the practice of yoga should be enjoyable and foster community.
Creating and maintaining a fully inclusive space is at the forefront of The ‘House ethos. Being a BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ owned business provides us a lens through which we strive to program a wide variety of classes, contribute to the community, and provide access to teachers who are diverse and welcoming to all.
We continue to educate ourselves so that we can offer an expanding wealth of care for others – from learning to more articulately acknowledge the deep roots of yoga philosophy and history, to staying abreast of the most cutting-edge biomechanical and anatomical principles.
